My boyfriend and I are frequent business travelers. So much of our time together is spent in hotel rooms across the country. (Lucky us, huh?)
I never worry that my husband or wife is called our hotel or our room and take us - because whenever I look at the hotel under a different name.
How?
Well, after years of coordinating travel for my boss and others in our company, I found it very easy to check into a hotel with a different name.
Upon arriving, I tell the person behind the desk that I'm there to see my boss and get your room configuration. I hand my credit card and tell them to fourth place in the name of ... the name that I can think of that day.
I have yet to have anyone tell me I can not. And - I've tried. After check in with a fake name, I call my cell phone reception and ask for Sabrina White. I always say that they have a guest with the name.
Here are some tips for those of you who are going to try the following:
1 - Do not choose an obvious name, guess. This includes the name of his mother, the name of your son or your "porn name" (you know, his middle name and the street where he grew up, or the name of your dog and the street where you live now .. .)
